It compliments the warm skin tones beautifully. In swatches and tube, Amorous may look a little boring and a dark mauvey shade, but do give it a shot. It is creamy and gives almost a matte finish on lips. I did not find it settling in the fine lines of the lips or smudging or smearing around the lip area. I do make sure to apply lip balm underneath. I find it slightly drying but it’s not too uncomfortable.
